FETIDUS: Alastaire IIby ~Riokku

Watercolor portrait of James Durham's character Alastaire Sobolevski from his novel podcast: FETIDUS (Foundation for the Ethical Treatment of the Innocently Damned, Undead and Supernatural) : The Damned Heir

I really like how this one came out.

Here's the description he sent me of his appearance:
"Alastaire Sobolevski -- Art's Boss. Think James Earl Jones, only not quite as full-figured. Mid-late 50's, graying hair at the temples, a distinguished, hearty, warm, highly educated, exuberant black man, filled with energy and enthusiasm, and almost always wearing a huge, infectious, gregarious smile. Big, thick arms that want to give big hugs and pats on the back. A southern gentleman, dressed well, and a great president of FETIDUS (US branch). A world-traveler, always positive, but with a knowing look in his eyes... he's got more wisdom than his hearty smiles might suggest. Competent, intelligent, friendly, fatherly. And.... he's a vampire. You can't tell that he's a vampire because he's had dental work to hide the fact. The only way you can tell is by the slight curl of his smile to his left side, showing a slight glint of his canine tooth, which looks normal, but seems slightly unusual that he wants to flash that to you. He's a good vampire. He really is.
