School: I'm hanging in there. It's a pain in the ass but I'm hanging in there. No process journals for a couple weeks, so don't expect much new to be uploaded soon. Sorry. D:
Life: I'm tired. I keep falling asleep either during classes, at home as soon as I sit on the couch or my bed... Everyone's sick and I'm hoping either I don't get sick and can still go to school so I don't fall behind or that I do get sick so I can catch up on sleep. ._. My social life is a little strange right now, too.
Weather: Hoping it'll snow. There have been reports of snow in our state already so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm very hopeful.
Halloween: Ooooh wow. So I went with two close friends to go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. So in my neighborhood a lot of families with little kids have moved away. (Which sucks because that puts me out of my babysitting job.) My mom and I spent hours and hours and lots of effort and blood and swearing, etc. into my Gothic Alice costume (might get some pictures of it up... It's currently being debated right now.) and buying accessories, making accessories, and clothes for my white rabbit, worrying about makeup and the weather and finding an umbrella. (Thank god I didn't have to use it much. I hate umbrellas.) So we put a lot of effort and money into this costume and it paid off. It'll probably get more work done on it for anime conventions, but it's really awesome.
Anyway two of my friends came over and one of them borrowed and old costume of mine. I quickly did makeup for her and then we left as a nerd, a vampire prom queen with a cloak and a nerdy girl. We went around getting candy and were pretty much the only people in the neighborhood. One group of kids were trick-or-treating by car, which was pretty funny. A lot of houses turned out to have no candy and/or no one home. Some houses would just have bowls of candy set out and would say: Take 2 or 3. Be kind! And we took handfuls if it was good candy. XD
But we only saw maybe... 2 or 3 other groups of little kids. We went down to part of the neighborhood known for having huge bars of candy. Not a whole lot of kids there, but pretty big candy bars.
We ran into some kids from our school who were having a party at their house. We had come up to the door all excited for candy just like we were little kids and this kid opens the door. I recognized him from our school and one of my other friends noticed there were people inside having a party. We felt like complete losers for running into kids our age having parties while here we are, a group of three, still dressing up and asking for candy... Wonderful.
So we spent about 2 hours around the neighborhood, getting candy and feeling completely lame. But honestly from past experiences, I hate the parties I've been going to lately. There'll be so many fun things planned out, along with movie marathons and fun board games but what happens? Another daily fix of rockband and other video games just has to replace the fun board games and movies we don't get to play or see everyday and everyone scatters off to do their own thing and it gets boring really fast. Also at the parties my friends and I were invited to, of course there are people from school invited that we don't like putting up with and I'm sure they didn't want to do a lot of trick-or-treating.
In the end, we got a lot of good candy and didn't drown in the rain and weren't that cold. We didn't get to nearly as many houses as we wanted to and by the time we finished I felt like a complete loser, but whatever. I won't be trick-or-treating for many more years to come so might as well try to enjoy it while you can, right?
Other: I'm hoping my school life won't feel so busy and tiring soon enough. I want to get a job at Michael's so then I can get discounts on art supplies. I could use that sooo much along with money for my Japan trip this summer with my class and clothes and art school. But I'm not sure how much art I'll be able to do, at least on the computer. I'm so busy and working on the computer for art is so time consuming. We're working on some project in English right now and we need to draw symbols so I'm going to draw all the symbols and try working on a template design for our power point slides to make it look pretty and professional.
Anyway, I'm not sure what else I have to say. I've got LOTS of M&Ms? My brother is sick and I'm covering the house in disinfectant every 2 minutes and using lots of hand sanitizer while still hoping maybe I won't have to go to school?
HEY! I got my long-awaited electric guitar! The amp smells like tar cause the guy who owned it before smokes, but it's an awesome guitar.
